The Unbelievable Story Of A Dog Driving In Kilgore, Texas
Back in December of 2022, a "reckless driver" in Kilgore, Texas, crashed a vehicle into two different cars in a Walmart parking lot, prompting a visit from the Kilgore Police Department. What they discovered behind the wheel made national headlines.
What Happened?
A victim of the crash noticed the suspect barreling down the road, but couldn't get away from them in time. Witnesses in the parking lot ran over to the vehicle and were shocked to find there wasn't a driver in it at all, but there was a dog.

Bad Dog
Police believe the dog became antsy while waiting for his owner to come back from a trip inside Walmart, and somehow set the truck in motion, which already had some damage in the steering column, making it much easier for the dog to accidentally drive the car. They think his leash was caught in the emergency brake and that he somehow released it, sending the car barreling toward unsuspecting store patrons.
The Good News
Luckily, nobody was injured in the crash, but cops say the dog had a rather guilty look on his face.
