Why There Aren't Any Strip Clubs In Amarillo, Texas
First, when we say in Amarillo we mean in the city. An ordinance in place made it so these types of businesses could only exist in industrial zones.
Before this ordinance, Amarillo had been home to multiple establishments where women who liked to dance to pay their way through college could apply their talents and earn that tuition.
Over the years, these establishments began to disappear. In some cases, there isn't a single trace that even existed at all. Their legacy is lost to a forgotten history.
What Gentlemen's Clubs Used To Be In Amarillo, Texas?
