One of the great things about Amarillo is the access to food.  We have restaurants all over the city, but another great access point is food trucks. Amarillo has many food trucks all over the city.

Many Amarilloans have found the one food truck they love and they frequent. One of those favorites just happens to be Hibachi Kingdom. Hibachi Kindom is usually located at 10th and Buchanan.

Hibachi Kingdom has been serving the hungry stomachs of Amarillo for over 5 years. However, they just announced that they will be leaving Amarillo. According to the Hibachi Kingdom Facebook post, they will be closing the food truck on February 28, 2026. They are currently in their last month of operation in Amarillo.

What Hibachi Kingdom Said About Leaving Amarillo

It’s been an incredible journey, we’ve met some incredible people, shared laughs, we learned your names, we shared some amazing moments together, made so many new friends, with some great eats along the way !

They didn't share what their next adventure would be, but they said it was an amazing opportunity.

 While this decision wasn’t easy to make, we as a family came to the conclusion that when blessings like this come knockin’, it’s crucial to take the leap !
They are grateful for all the customers who have been on this journey with them, and promise to offer the best quality service and food during their remaining days in Amarillo.

This isn't the first time Hibachi Kingdom has closed. Back in March 2025, they closed the food truck. They reopened on May 3, 2025, at 34th and Osage.
