It's always great to see new businesses coming to Amarillo.

Last year we let you know that a new restaurant was moving into the Yellow City.  This restaurant would be moving into the empty Roll 'Em Up Taquitos building just off Bell on 45th.  The problem with this building is it has been multiple restaurants in the last 6 years since it was built.  That's a lot of restaurants, and that is why we call it one of Amarillo's Cursed Buildings.   Hopefully, this new restaurant will break that curse.

When we originally reported that QDOBA was coming to Amarillo, their representative gave us an opening date of February 2025, which would be in a few weeks.  However, we just noticed that construction has finally started on the building.  We reached out to QDOBA to see if they were still planning on the opening date in February, and they let us know that they are now looking at a March or early April opening date for this location.

The franchise owners of the Amarillo QDOBA do have the franchise rights to open more locations here in Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland, Odessa, Abilene, and San Angelo.   That's a lot of QDOBA in the Texas Panhandle and West Texas!

It's time to prepare yourself to get ready to create your delicious creation of Mexican eats at QDOBA.  Oh, and the best part is guacamole and queso on your entree masterpiece is free.  They don't charge extra!
