Amarillo was established in 1887 and is 137 years old.   That's a long time to be in existence.  In those 136 years, lots of things have happened.  Many people have lived their lives, and many buildings have been built and then demolished.  However, some believe that spirits can remain and haunt people and places.

Amarillo is reputed to have numerous haunted businesses and residences. These places are said to be haunted by evil spirits, benevolent entities, or by the lingering memories of the past. After asking on our social media, we compiled a list of the most haunted places in Amarillo based on your input, along with a few locations we were already aware of and reshared.

Have you ever felt a spirit or that a place was haunted in Amarillo?  Have you ever been to any of these locations and thought that place just didn't feel right.   So many stories have come from many of these haunted places.   Many paranormal hunters have visited a lot of these locations multiple times and have always found something paranormal.

It's highly possible that these places are not haunted it was just a coincidence or something strange that someone saw or heard.  While many people in Amarillo believe in ghosts many don't.  While others don't believe in ghosts but believe in demons, which means that most of these ghosts are not friendly but just evil.
